Sure, you might claim that I’m a veteran RTS gamer, but that’s furthest from the truth: I may have a played a lot of them, but I was never really good. Men of War: Assault Squad 2 – Cold War is but the latest game to take us back to 50 years of conflict that somehow didn’t kill us all… and to actually fight it out on a digital battlefield. Despite its short length, this review took a lot of time to reach the blog. The DLC isn’t that big! Ancestors Legacy started out as a game set in the early Middle Ages when Vikings roamed the earth. Do you know what else happened in the early Medieval era? The Crusades, baby! And the Saladin’s Conquest DLC allows you to fight them as the people it’s named after.

When Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus was first announced, I had zero faith in it. Sure, having a game where you control the Techpriests of Mars is cool. However, facing off against a single enemy race – Necrons, of all things – seemed to be boring. Glad I was very, very wrong about that!
